Efendi Hotel, Akko
I don’t think I’ve ever stepped inside a hotel quite like this. The new Efendi Hotel (just opened a in March 2012) is a stunning property built on what I’ve been told is one of the oldest structures in Israel. The Ottoman-style hotel includes 12 meticulously designed rooms, a vast wine & tapas bar in the cellar, a rooftop lounge with sweeping views of the Mediterranean and Old City of Akko and serves daily farm-to-table style breakfasts.
In other words, this is heaven.
